Stay tough! Senior c0-captains Alex Strazzanti and Will Olson fought hard in a major rivarly last Friday, October 7. The Hawks fell to Chanhassen Storm 35-13. “It hurts to lose a rivalry game like that, but we just tell our guys we have to learn from the loss and then forget about it,” Will Olson states. The Hawks did put up two major touchdowns from senior Jaren Dodds and a run in from Strazzanti. Olson finished with a team high of 87 yards on 20 carries. “We are just gonna go into practice this week with a chip on our shoulder,” Strazzanti says, “We didn’t capitalize on our opportunities so that will be our main emphasis for this week”. The Hawks are 3-3 on the season and face Orono this Friday night. Olson says, “the squad is going to have a little extra motivation because of what happened last week. We are going to keep our heads up and focus on what we can do better next game.”
